УСТРОЙСТВО АВТОМАТА ОПИСАНИЕ ЧАСТЕЙ АВТОМАТА
5. Ствол (рис. 2) служит для направления полета пули. Внутри он имеет:
а) канал с четырьмя нарезами, служащими для сообщения пуле вращательного движения при полёте; промежутки между нарезами называются полями; расстоянием по диаметру между двумя противоположными полями определяется калибр канала ствола; он равен 7,62 мм;

б) патронник — для помещения патрона при выстреле.
На наружной поверхности ствол имеет: а) полукруглую выемку для крепления ствола в ствольной коробке, б) кольцевой выступ, ограничивающий продвижение ствола при его постановке на место и воспринимающий удары затвора при стрельбе.
6. Ствольная коробка (рис. 3) служит для крепления в ней ствола и соединения с затворной коробкой.

Передняя часть ствольной коробки является кожухом, задняя служит крышкой затворной коробки.
Кожух служит для предохранения ствола от ударов и рук стрелка от ожогов при нагреве ствола. Передняя часть кожуха скошенная, она является компенсатором, который улучшает кучность боя автомата. Кожух имеет сверху мушку, с левой стороны — антапку для ремня.

Мушка (рис. 4) служит для прицеливания. Она ввинчена в полозок, который укреплён в основании на кожухе. Мушка предохраняется от повреждений намушником.
Ствольная коробка имеет: а) вкладыш с упором для крепления ствола и с поперечным отверстием для соединительной оси; б) сверху окно для выбрасывания стреляных гильз; в) с правой стороны продольный вырез для прохода рукоятки затвора с двумя небольшими вырезами для установки затвора на предохранитель в заднем и переднем положениях; г) в задней части выступ, который служит для правильной постановки задней части ствольной коробки при соединении её с затворной коробкой; д) два боковых уступа, ограничивающих движение колпачка защёлки вперёд, и два отверстия для прохода шпильки защёлки; е) защёлку ствольной коробки(рис. 5), которая служит для сцепления ствольной коробки с затворной; она состоит из колпачка, пружины и шпильки; колпачок имеет зацеп, который при закрытом положении автомата помещается в окне хвоста затворной коробки, полукруглый выступ, внутри которого помещается пружина защёлки, и два боковых отверстия — для прохода шпильки; ж) прицел с вращающимся целиком (рис. б), рассчитанный для стрельбы на дальности 100 и 200 м; в соответствии с этим на целике поставлены цифры 10 и 20; целик вращается на оси, укреплённой в основании велика, и удерживается в данном положении пружиной.

Колодка прицела служит основанием прицела. она имеет секторы для установки высот прицела.
Прицельная планка соединены с ушками прицельной колодки при помощи оси. На наружной стороне прицельной пленки нанесены деления в десятках метров (от 50 до 500, через каждые 50 м).
Хомутик надет на прицельную планку. В нём помещается защёлка с пружиной, при помощи которой хомутик удерживается на зубцах планки в установленном положении.
7. Затворная коробка (рис. 8) служит для соединения основных частей автомата и движения в ней затвора.
